Puppies start getting there permanent teeth in at around twelve to sixteen weeks of age. This teething stage can last up to five months. Puppies experience teething similar in sensation to human babies. During this time your puppy will try to find relief from the discomfort by chewing on everything he can sink his teeth into. There are a few things you can do to minimize the pain he may be experiencing and also minimize the damage to your belongings.
Acupuncture is based on the concept of qi (pronounced “chee”), which loosely means energy, and its effects on the body. The needles stimulate nerve endings and send signals to the brain with healing effects.
Studies show that feeding dogs and cats commercial dog food greatly increases their health problems and risks for diseases and greatly reduces the length of their lives. On average, pets who eat proper home made meals or complete and balanced packaged foods can almost double their life expectancy.
Unfortunately, many people do not offer suitable homes for dogs, cats, and other pets. Many people do not deserve to have these loyal, loving, intelligent, and affectionate creatures in their lives. Often it is up to the public to be aware of neglected pets and step in to do the right thing.
